WHAT WE DO

Pittacus has a simple proposition: to help organisations understand their reputation threats.

Once in a crisis, organisations are forced to spend both time and money – lots of each – trying to manage the situation so as to protect their brand and reputation.

Our experience is that crises are often foreseeable and, if so, it is possible to mitigate or prevent many of them. Where this is not the case, then they can be properly prepared for. To this end, Pittacus has developed a forensic and methodical approach to assess and map an organisation’s reputational risks.

What Pittacus does is to:

  • Identify potential threats to an organisation’s reputation
  • Make sure that, where possible, preventive action is taken to minimise those threats
  • Ensure that effective contingency plans are in place (and maintained and regularly updated), so that they can be activated immediately if any of the threats to the reputation of the organisation were to materialise
